I got tired of constantly opening news sites just to find out there are no major news that interests me. I was using Google Discover on my android, but kinda stopped liking it, since I didn't have control over which topics I wanted to see and ads...

And since with all the hype around vibe coding I decided that I have to spend somehow my Claude AI tokens :) So I built NewsNest, an open-source, self-hosted RSS aggregator that uses Claude to rank and summarize feeds.

I quickly drafted a plan of what I wanted and started building. The first version was rly rly bad :D But after a few changes, things started to look very nice. At the begging code wasn't released to public. I was using it for a week and was rly thrilled with the result. Almost never open any big news site again :)

That's when I decided that maybe I could put this repo to public and see if anyone else would benefit from it.

So you are welcome to give it a try and see if you'd like it too. Also any feedback is more than welcome!

    TY!
