Existing bookmark organization apps are either
paid or bloated with AI. Frustrated, I prompted Bookmarker into existence, a minimal MacOS app to organize bookmarks, read them offline, and add comments. There is iCloud syncing between multiple Macs, also a safari extension to quickly add new links.
It’s still early, so bug reports and suggestions are very welcome.
It is not nice to mix the personal notes/lists/groceries with bookmarks in the native notes app. I find bookmarks in Safari difficult to organize, and, if you use multiple browsers, it can get messy. Also, in Bookmarker, the notes are stored in json files, so you can run them through an external LLM to organize them for you.

How is it different than the native macOS note app or bookmarks in Safari?
