I was not happy paying $12 per month to Dictation application and I was enjoying playing with open source model. So I tried making my own dictation which has same speed and accuracy but run totally on device. I am using parakeet for STT and qwen 2.5 for Cleanup. It runs perfectly fine on my M1 Macbook Pro which has 8GB of RAM.
