It seems to me to be a clear violation of Washington’s constitution to enact this new tax. I think others are fearful that it would eventually expand to everyone and I don’t see how that fear isn’t justified.
Shouldn’t you have to change the state Constitution if that is indeed what it says, or should the rights of democracies be overturned for the whims of momentary populism?
