He said he agreed with Daniel Huttenlocher, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology research-lab co-chair, in believing “it is humans who are responsible, not the AI.”
There are general "algorithmic" based harms, that using the Ai moment to pass some new regulations, can help with.
Another is Ai companions, I suspect there is a big gap here in our current laws.

If people are responsible for AI, then AI regulation is pointless, a case I've made many times.
Typewriter regulation is also pointless and would not have prevented the Unabomber. He preferred an Underwood.
We already have laws against bad human behavior. Trying to blame a machine is another form of delusional anthropomorphosis.
People are responsible for what people do. Not machines. And not corporations.
