The logo is begging for trouble too, if you were an actual fruit shop and had that logo since 1975 they'd go after you for trademark infringement. Using it as a logo for an alternative OS specifically for Mac probably constitutes actual trademark infringement.

As I understood from the post and authors they are other community project like Asahi but they are fast in development and utilize LLMs efficiently
the project focus on upstream first
