What are your thoughts on everyone just using onion services and becoming their own cloud again?
I think the model for self hosting actually works and scales again here. I really don't even understand why anyone bothers with jumping through all the hoops anymore when something like onion services exist.
Ive been thinking about this a lot and how individual may not survive long term in a world of hyper aware LLM's.
Im not really even sure what utility a gmail or outlook provides anymore aside from professional environments where the network effect is useful.
