Interestingly, nothing turns up. I take that to mean either I missed it, or the mayor doesn't own real estate in the city he is running, or it is hidden behind an LLC or something like that (I also searched by his wife's last name).
Another explanation could be that he sold it when he moved into the $100 million Gracie Mansion.
Mamdani rented a $2300/month one bedroom apartment in Queens before moving into Gracie Mansion. He owns no real estate. He moved into the apartment while earning $47k/year.

I wanted an official source that I could trust (not a newspaper or social media), hence using the government datasource directly, which I didn't think to google for before I read the article you posted.
Strange to mention how much Gracie Mansion is worth when he doesn’t own it, and only resides there during his mayoral term in return for his work as a public servant, no? It is owned by the New York City government, and he is merely a tenant again (although with no rent obligation). He moved in, in part, to free his rent stabilized apartment for someone else.

I find it suspicious when someone purports to be for the working people and the poor, but choose to live in a $100M mansion in NYC, doubly so when they are getting it for free. The mayor of NYC gets more than $250k per year, doesn't have to pay for accommodation, actually, gets fabulous accommodation, and, probably most importantly, exerts political power, the real reward.
So yes, technically he is a public servant, but he is no school teacher, or policeman, or firefighter, or nurse.
Can you explain why you believe it’s suspicious that somebody accepts the accommodations provided for their public service? Also, he declined his city council approved pay raise from $258,750/year to $305,800/year.
I certainly agree that he is flexing his political power, but entirely in the service of his working class constituents. Whether you believe that’s good or bad is subjective, based on your belief of how the working class should be treated.
His approval rating stands at 69% in most recent polls. He is the 7th most popular Democrat and the 8th most popular politician.
I did my due diligence before cutting his campaign a check. I support good people who do good work for people who need good work done for them. He’s the real deal. The evidence is clear, but I understand humans are tricky.
