    I found the immersive videos had too many cuts. When in an immersive first-person view, cutting to a different angle is extremely disorienting. It’s nice they had multiple cameras, but I would have liked to experience the uncut footage from each camera, instead of cut up footage switching between all of them.

    It’s like they didn’t really understand the platform they were making the video for, and instead just used the traditional methods they knew.

    Immersive (VR) narrative videos don’t make sense because the point of film is that you get the point of view of the storyteller. If you can move around in the story landscape, you cannot experience the story-teller’s point of view.

    This is healthy I think. The process of figuring out how actual users experience the product should inform the strategy.
