Presumably, even if the fixes are artisanally designed and implemented, that is enough to "taint" the project. Personally I find that a bit juvenile, but I guess we all have different priorities.
I think overall it's probably net positive for the ecosystem to have a place where only hand crafted code is welcome, so I guess I support this existing.
Why does it matter? "Tainted by AI" seems like a cool proxy measure for something that is already measured by some existing measures.
