    "Excludes taxes and healthcare". I'm sorry but that makes this completely useless. The quality and cost of healthcare varies dramatically in different countries, and what remains after tax & medical costs determines whether you can actually afford to retire in a location.

    Also no difference is made between big cities and small towns.

      I was about to post the exact same thing. I would think that, as you age throughout retirement, healthcare costs are increasingly the primary cost of living.
