This article lacks a soul and reeks of being AI-authored.
I bring it up because the more we tolerate that and the more we reward that behavior on HN, the more we will get that behavior.
What about tolerating and rewarding comments that complain about possible AI authoring?
If the article is decent and interesting let it stand, if it's not then it will fail by itself.
Well if the first comment days AI slop, then I don’t have to read it, so it helps with the weeding.
Agreed. I don’t know that HN readers should become slop filters more than they are already.

This whole section has been completely derailed by this, as have many others. These non discussions are a far bigger problem than what they claim to be defending against.
