CasaOS on a Raspberry Pi works pretty well for this. Simple web interface, handles big libraries fine, and you don’t have to mess around with complicated server setup.
I like how Bill Wurtz does it at `https://billwurtz.com`. Dump everything on a server and list things manually in html.
Or you could let your webserver deal with the directory listing. Caddy's looks nice, is customisable too. Can't get simpler than that!
