I was going to leave no feedback, which is feedback. But no feedback is the absolute worst.
The technical implementation sounds cool. But I’m trying to imagine scenarios for the team emails with the Cloudflare hosting requirement.
My current client has a team inbox (accounts payable). But they use Microsoft. So outlook and exchange. I love Cloudflare, but in my experience have never seen it used more than for routing in “enterprises”.
That's fair feedback. Cloudflare's email tooling is still early, and I wouldn't expect a company already standardized on Microsoft/Exchange to replace it with this today.
I do think it will evolve, though. Someone on Reddit suggested adding ActiveSync support, and my early local experiments are already working. That could let people use existing mail clients while HQBase and the underlying data remain in their own Cloudflare account.
For now, the clearest fit is smaller teams already using Cloudflare that want shared addresses across multiple domains without paying for a separate mailbox for each one.
And thanks - feedback is definitely better than no feedback :)
