    Problems usually happen all at once—that's Murphy's Law. But WiFi connection issues are definitely easier to fix than replacing equipment.

    Poorly-built tech is obviously an issue, but unfortunately I think you might just be unlucky.

    All except for one of those things are Apple products or things not working with Apple products. So maybe the problem is Apple?

    As for a modern TV not working after 7 years, since the era of flat screen TVs started with plasmas, I think 7-10 years is the standard lifespan. Vacuum tubes lasted longer but that's a different technology.
