I was recently the victim of some kind of tribal predatory loan service that was way off in Northern California. I looked into it, and determined that there was basically nothing I could do to pursue it legally. It is unclear whether a "tribal loan account" could be legally pursued by ordinary US collection agencies, but it's rather crazy to imagine that kind of activity that targets ordinary Americans.
If you're not an Indian (us legal term) then I believe you can file a federal case, can you? Tribal law can't supercede basic American law from what I understand especially not when there's a non Indian involved.
