Starting to think the public just doesn't know what is being talked about & is latching on to simpler more self-contained concepts like gov ID.

The world has changed since the 2000s. We already have many digital IDs. It's a no brainer to consolidate them.
Now if only the UK can scrap Garbagé and elect Count Binface as Prime Binister.
