Never thought Presidential pardons extended to soccer games, but here we are.
Only FIFA Nobel Laureates can pardon soccer players I believe.
Rules? What rules?
It's utterly ridiculous. What's next? Trump deciding the outcome of each game?
Let me guess: the US won the world cup.
A nation has become a clown car.
I've watched too many years of sports out of Europe to be surprised by flexible rules.
I've watched cycling since the early 90's and they were all over the place, making up their rules as they go.
They're still all over the place. The recent kerfuffles over gear ratios, bar widths, 32" wheels and ice packs are only a few recent examples.
