Broadcom wanted to drop small customers by pricing them out, so what is T-Mobile if not a large, reliable customer (since 2008!)? Do they have no concept of customer retention? As an investor, I would be asking questions.
Apparently the price is the price. If customers aren't willing to write a blank check, Broadcom doesn't want them.
