> if I offload more of my thinking to AI, I could go faster and get more done. Think less, move faster.
my mental model, and experience, is that you can think at higher levels and delegate lower-level thinking to the machine. In the past, you could only delegate routinized, procedural thinking, but generative AI is more creative so there's a larger portion of thinking you can delegate.
for example, what are the questions to ask? what decisions/suggestions/ideas that the AI generates should you pick or run with? it requires judgment. it requires agency. it requires taking responsibility for your consequent actions. all of that requires thinking.
