Don’t get big, get dense. There is a 2-3 x power proficiency. Go for twelve rep maxes and intensive pyramid sets when you are ready to transform into a dense durable light weight build.

Real strength comes from the relationship between your mind, your body, and the center of gravity of whatever you are moving. Learn strength to stabilize and “the fulcrum” to carry with ease and you will be physically transformed into a super being.

    Don’t forget the cardio.

A coworker (under 30) told me his ex wanted to get back together.

He wanted to but told her, "I promised myself I wouldn't have a girlfriend until I got a six pack."

    Let's assume she is nonplussed.

This article could have been written at any point since 1980. If anything, the past decade has seen an actual decline in gymbro culture and in the sport (yeah, yeah) of bodybuilding specifically. Also, steroids are a lot harder to get than they used to be.

It's interesting to note that the heyday of the once-huge bodybuilding.com forum was about fifteen or twenty years ago.
