Except I (and a quickly increasing number of slow to adopt colleagues) use generative AI everyday as a mechanical engineering manager.
I recall the hype of all the others - especially block chain and NFTs, brainstorming if these were worth finding use-cases for. We couldn't find any.
Sorry, GAI is different.
(FWIW I also think the Metaverse is different, but the HUD technology isn't anywhere near ready yet. Give it time)
