Same I still have my original Core Duo Macbook Pro somewhere.
I really loved that machine and it was definitely a gateway drug the Mac world.
I used it mainly for development work but also for DJing and I have some really fond memories of learning Ableton on it.
I've been using Macs ever since (with a few Linux laptops along the way).
There should be a MacBook SUV model for those who prefer macos and ThinkPad golden age modular hardware design.
