    One area that I keep seeing carbon capture touted as a clean solution: data centers and industrial facilities. ~

    What I have problems establishing is where it actually applies.

    The way I’m currently thinking of it:

    It functions in its optimal way when there are concentrated emissions.

    The cost can add up quickly when scaled.

    It simply relocates issues rather than solving them.

    That doesn’t make it useless. Only very conditional.

    Curious how others think about this:

      if you look at the numbers carbon capture will be necessary, but unfortunately CCS is neither very efficient nor very useful at the moment, still CO2 has to be removed from the atmosphere, we can only hope that we will be able to do so in the very near future
